HR Director Location: Dublin (with responsibility for a second office location) The Opportunity A respected membership-based organisation is seeking an experienced HR Director to lead and develop its people function. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for driving strategic and operational HR initiatives across multiple locations. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting organisational objectives through the delivery of best-practice human resource management, employee relations, talent management, performance development and employee wellbeing programmes. This position offers an opportunity to influence organisational strategy while leading a high-quality HR service in a values-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Lead the organisation's HR strategy and people agenda. Provide expert guidance on employee relations, industrial relations and workplace issues. Oversee recruitment, selection and workforce planning activities. Drive performance management and employee development initiatives. Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and best practices. Support organisational change and continuous improvement projects. Promote employee wellbeing, engagement and positive workplace culture. Build effective relationships with senior leaders, employees and key stakeholders. Ensure compliance with employment legislation and organisational policies. Lead HR projects and policy development initiatives across the organisation. Candidate Profile The successful candidate will have: A degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline. CIPD qualification (or equivalent professional accreditation). Significant HR leadership experience, including experience at HR Business Partner level or above. Strong knowledge of employee relations and industrial relations practices. Proven experience managing complex workplace and contractual matters. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills. Strong research, policy development and project management capabilities. A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, solutions-focused approach. Excellent communication, leadership and relationship-building skills.
