ClearEdge is a mission-focused technology company supporting Department of Defense and government customers. This Senior Network Engineer role involves designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing enterprise network systems across software engineering and operational environments, with responsibility for both Linux and Windows infrastructure. What You'll Do • Design, implement, maintain, and secure enterprise network infrastructures including Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity and throughput issues, and recommend upgrades or modifications • Implement and maintain network security controls, configurations, and patches on routers, switches, firewalls, and servers • Support Linux and Windows systems including system administration tasks, patching, and upgrades • Use automation tools such as Ansible or Salt to streamline network operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams What You Need • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance • Minimum 3 years as a Network Engineer within the last 3 years • Experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls • Proficiency with Linux and Windows • CCNA or CCNP certification and Security+ certification • Ability to climb ladders and perform physical network installation and maintenance tasks • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university, or 4 additional years of network engineering experience • IAT Level III baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M • Experience patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources • Windows and Linux system administration experience Nice to Have • Experience developing or using Ansible or Salt scripts • Experience with AWS and virtualized network environments • 12 years' experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity $10k annual training and education benefit, 10% 401(k) contribution fully vested on day one, annual health and technology allowances, access to state-of-the-art technology lab
