Description
Convene Hospitality Group is a global lifestyle hospitality company that designs and operates immersive destination experiences. The Senior Network Engineer will join the Global Infrastructure team to design, maintain, and improve enterprise-scale network infrastructure across multiple venue properties, cloud environments, and networking technologies serving both US and UK markets.
What You'll Do
• Design, develop, build, and maintain network architecture for multi-tenant enterprise systems serving corporate and customer-facing operations
• Partner with internal and external teams to automate provisioning for new clients and infrastructure tasks
• Lead network improvements including equipment code upgrades, hardware upgrades, and application software enhancements
• Build, maintain, and improve network automation platforms and cloud-based compute environments using Virtualization, Kubernetes, and containerization
• Monitor network health across locations, identify problems proactively, and participate in on-call rotation for network operations
What You Need
• 10+ years of hands-on experience deploying, maintaining, and managing enterprise-scale networks
• Deep understanding of core networking concepts including layer 2 and 3 routing protocols, multi-site VPN, and WiFi networks
• Hands-on experience with Juniper JunOS including SRX, EX, and QFX platforms
• Experience with network automation tools including Ansible for building and maintaining automation platforms
• Hands-on Linux server-based operating system experience, preferably RHEL-based distributions
Nice to Have
• Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS and ASA
• Experience with SD-WAN, MPLS, VPLS, and L2L VPN tunnel technologies
• Familiarity with latest WiFi technologies including 802.11ax/802.11be standards and RADIUS/AAA accounting
• Experience building and maintaining KVM-based virtual environments
Base salary $160,000–$180,000 annually, plus annual incentive performance bonus plan.
