You will also be expected to help draft requirements for the end-to-end model and scorecard development process and respond to requests from the Methodology Review Group and external regulatorsDevelop in-depth knowledge of our Moodys Credit Rating Models and Credit Rating ScorecardsDraft and review Model Specification Documents to ensure completeness and consistencyCreate user guides and provide user training on new and existing Credit Rating Models and Credit Rating ScorecardsAssist model co-ordinators drafting requirements for the end-to-end process for new model and scorecard developmentsPrepare and co-ordinate responses to model and scorecard related requests from external and internal parties, e.g. model support, regulatory requestsMentor junior team members in the Business Analysts teamLead efforts and co-ordination around submissions of software updates for approval with the Methodology Review Group and co-ordinate with Risk Process Oversight for documentation of model errorsLead efforts on professional training of models and scorecards for rating teams and other analytical teams. You will also be expected to help rating teams to understand model and scorecard results as neededAbout The TeamOur Credit Strategy and Standards – Modelling and Quantitative Analytics / Design and Analytics team is responsible for the development and maintenance of credit rating models used in the rating process.We contribute to Moodys by designing and implementing robust quantitative model logic, ensuring consistency and comparability across the modelling suite, and strengthening analytical capabilities as we grow our team presence in Bangalore. Our team combines quantitative modelling expertise with strong business analysis capabilities, working across the full model lifecycle from requirements and business logic specification through implementation, testing, release, training, and user support. We partner closely with methodology, verification, technology, and rating teams to deliver high-quality analytical solutions and drive continuous process improvement.By joining our team, you will be part of exciting work in quantitative modelling and credit risk analytics within a global ratings organization, with increasing collaboration across regions and a growing footprint in our Bangalore office.
