What's on Offer? £47,500 per annum Permanent, full-time position (38 hours per week) Monday-Friday working pattern Flexible working options Annual salary reviews Up to 6% contributory pension 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays Extensive training, qualifications and career development opportunities Healthcare and wellbeing benefits Retail, travel and leisure discounts Employee networks and Payroll Giving scheme The Role As the Senior Military Airworthiness Supervisor, you'll lead independent Military Airworthiness Reviews (MARs), ensuring compliance with Military Aviation Authority (MAA) regulations and supporting the continued airworthiness of military aircraft. Working primarily from RNAS Yeovilton, with occasional travel to other military sites, you'll provide technical leadership, mentor colleagues and help drive continuous improvement across the airworthiness function. Key Responsibilities Lead and conduct independent Military Airworthiness Reviews (MARs) Produce detailed findings reports and recommend corrective actions Identify and escalate airworthiness concerns using recognised reporting systems, including DASORs, Quality Occurrence Reports and engineering fault reporting processes Analyse review findings to support Continuing Airworthiness Maintenance Organisation (CAMO) activities Produce trend analysis and present findings at Air Safety Boards, Continuous Airworthiness Management Meetings and other technical forums Mentor and support less experienced Airworthiness Review personnel Ensure compliance with MAA regulations, customer policies and statutory requirements Promote a strong safety culture, risk management and continuous improvement Support engineering investigations, quality assurance and operational readiness What We're Looking For To be successful, you'll have: Significant experience within a military or aviation airworthiness environment Previous experience in a senior supervisory or leadership role A Service Certificate of Competency (CoC), equivalent qualification, or the ability to obtain one Strong knowledge of Military Aviation Authority (MAA) regulations and MAOS requirements Experience of military aircraft engineering, maintenance and airworthiness management Knowledge of engineering systems such as GOLDesp Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills The ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining exceptional safety and quality standards Qualifications or the ability to obtain them include: Maintenance Human Factors GOLDesp (Senior Supervisor level) Aircraft Custodian Course Baines Simmons Continuous Airworthiness Management Course Why Apply?
