Darwin Space are currently hiring for a Senior Mechanical & Thermal Engineer in Luxembourg. Qualifications • Holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent. • Have at least 10 years of professional experience in the relevant field. • Has experience with both mechanical and thermal FEA. • Has experience writing quality technical documentation. • Has a citizenship from a member state of both EU and NATO. Responsibilities • Design, analyse, procure, assemble and test mechanical parts and mechanisms of (space and ground) terminals or mechanical ground support equipments. • Develop mechanical and thermal requirements in line with systems requirements. • Manage the mechanical and thermal department (task clarifications, inputs & outputs verifications, support incremental development of the team and best practices). • Perform mechanical and thermal analysis. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure development in line with requirements • Support the testing and validation activities. • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, such as system design definitions and ICD Darwin Recruitment is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
