Description
OUR PURPOSE AT PLANCRAFT Building the backbone of European trades together – with AI-first software. We’re not just building software – we’re on a mission to create space for contractors & tradespeople by equipping them with AI solutions that work the way they do: fast, practical, and AI-first. With Tier 1 Investors from Europe and the US, like Headline and Creandum as well as 30,000+ tradespeople as customer base, we’re scaling across Europe to turn scattered tradespeople into thriving communities. We believe in zero admin, not zero personality – and we build every feature with the people in mind who wear the boots, not the suits. We’re #stoked to shape the future, #together as a team, and #humble in our mission to support the builders of tomorrow. YOUR MISSION AT PLANCRAFT As our first Marketing Manager in Italy, you play a key role in driving plancraft’s success in the Italian market. Your Italian language skills and marketing experience help us connect with Italian contractors locally, authentically, and with real impact. You shape how plancraft is perceived on the ground, translate our brand into the Italian market, and make sure our message is relevant to the daily reality of tradespeople. You will work closely with a small local team, currently consisting of a Country Lead and an Account Executive, giving you a high level of ownership and influence from day one. At the same time, you will be closely connected to our HQ Marketing team in Hamburg, especially across Performance Marketing and Brand, so you are not building the market alone but act as the local marketing owner and connector for Italy. This is a hands-on role with a strong execution focus, especially in the beginning. You will prioritize local marketing activities, test what works, create momentum in the market, and support hands-on where needed, from localized content and creator collaborations to events, customer stories, and selected social formats. You’ll be based in Milan, working on-site from our local office (close to Porta Venezia) on at least three days per week and collaborating closely with the local team, as well as the team in Hamburg, Germany. Your Responsibilities - Own and manage the local marketing budget for Italy and work closely with HQ teams to align local initiatives with global strategy and growth goals. - Prioritize, test, and execute local marketing activities that help build awareness, trust, and growth in Italy. - Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with Italian creators, partners, and contractors, and execute creator collaborations end-to-end from briefing and content planning to tracking and follow-up. - Collect customer stories, testimonials, and market insights and share them with internal teams. - Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Content, Brand, Performance, and Product to align local execution with global initiatives. - Create, publish, and test Italian content across social media, website, and selected campaigns. - Build and grow our Italian social channels, including Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, through hands-on localized content, short-form video, and authentic representation of plancraft in Italy. - Plan and execute local activations such as events, fairs, workshops, and community meetups.   YOUR PROFILE   Must haves - Experience in marketing with a strong hands-on approach and the ability to balance strategic thinking with execution. - Ability to prioritize marketing activities, test ideas, and focus on what drives impact in an early-stage market. - Experience creating or coordinating content such as copywriting, case studies, social media content, campaigns, or short-form video. - Strong affinity for social media and an understanding of what works on channels such as Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. - Confidence representing a brand externally, including being comfortable appearing on camera for selected local content formats. - Exper
