Our client, a Big 4 firm, with an unrivalled client base and exceptional reputation is looking to bolster their Tax Reporting and Strategy team with a driven and ambitious Senior Manager. The team works in conjunction with client facing teams across the business, providing you with a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of varied and complex projects, dealing directly with clients. This is an area which is growing in importance, and you will be working closely with businesses to transform their processes, making them more efficient and successful for the future. The role is project based, and you will be responsible for managing teams, driving initiatives and providing tax management advice to clients whilst developing excellent working relationships. Your work will involve tax transformation and process improvement, tax strategy and governance and consulting. Knowledge of recent developments in these areas is required, and you will need to have a good understanding of the relevant technologies used in these areas (ERP systems, workflow, data analytics etc). The work is fast paced, and ever changing, and you will manage several different workstreams at once, always communicating effectively with both clients and colleagues. We are ideally looking for someone who has worked in a similar role or in an in-house setting, and experience of tax reporting, compliance and operations is preferred.
