The Role
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Strategic Health Analytics to help establish a new analytics function focused on supporting payer and employer conversations with rigorous, evidence-based analysis. This is a hands-on leadership role for senior analytics professionals who can operate credibly in customer-facing settings, deliver end-to-end clear and convincing analysis, while helping shape the direction, standards, and long-term structure of this area over time.
The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in the US healthcare ecosystem, especially the payer and provider domain, along with deep analytical and statistical capability. We are looking for someone with strong analytical judgment, research instincts, scientific rigor, leadership skills and the ability to move fluidly between data analysis, narrative development, and strategic partnership.
Responsibilities
Act as a senior thought partner to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders by translating core business questions into clear, data-driven answers
Lead end-to-end analytical work, from framing ambiguous questions to delivering clear narratives, presentations, and recommendations tailored to executive, customer, and partner audiences to support decision-making and external credibility
Identify repeatable questions and turn them into scalable reports, models, and self-serve analytics
Identify opportunities to proactively generate insights that support market positioning, thought leadership, and strategic growth efforts
Build and lead a strategic health analytics function. Establish the standards, working model, and long-term direction for the team
Partner with Data Engineering and adjacent analytics teams to improve data foundations, definitions, and repeatable workflows in support of this work
Mentor analysts and help raise the bar for rigor, curiosity, and communication
Desired Skills & Experience
10+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, data science and/or outcome research with at least 2 years of people management experience
Strong expertise in the US healthcare landscape, especially the payer and provider space
Proven ability to operate credibly in customer-facing, partner-facing, or executive-facing settings
Strong analytical foundation, with the ability to frame ambiguous question to structured analytical approach, clear hypothesis and develop clear, convincing narrative grounded in data
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex findings clearly to non-technical, executive, and external audiences
Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex, real-world datasets
Experience with analytical and BI tools such as Tableau, Looker or similar
Strong experience with at least one scripting language. Python or R preferred
Experience mentoring others and helping grow a team, function, or new area of work over time

Healthcare consulting background with proven experience in leading end-to-end client engagement
Experience supporting network strategy, outcomes analysis or health economics
Experience with value-based care model is a plus
Experience helping stand up a ne
