Description
AdvancedMD AdvancedMD is a unified cloud suite of medical office software hosted on Amazon Web Services/AWS including practice management, electronic health records, and patient engagement, and offers managed medical billing services for independent practices. AdvancedMD serves an expansive national footprint of 65,000 practitioners across 14,000 practices and 900 independent medical billing companies. 8.8M insurance claims are processed every month on the  AdvancedMD billing platform!   Role Summary Are you a strategic operator who's just as comfortable building the business case as you are sharpening the words a customer actually reads? We're looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Product Marketing to drive strategic commercialization efforts at AdvancedMD. In this highly visible, highly influential role, you'll own the upfront thinking behind new products and services — defining the opportunity, the customer, and the go-to-market plan — then partner closely with Sales and marketing channels to bring it to life. You'll work cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Analytics, and executive leadership, using data not just to build the plan but to earn alignment on it. If you lead through relationships as much as through data, and you're energized by turning “should we do this?” into a real, evidence-backed answer, and bringing that to life in market for our customers, in service of our mission — we'd love to meet you.   Essential Job Duties: Commercialization Strategy Development: Drive conviction behind what AdvancedMD should launch next — and how — building the case for new products and services in close partnership with Product and executive leadership Own the development of thorough, data-backed go-to-market strategies for new initiatives, defining the market opportunity, target customer, recommended offering, and monetization, merchandising, and messaging strategies Build that perspective using the right method for the question posed and demonstrate proficiency in qualitative research, quantitative research, in-market testing, and existing customer data analysis Owning the Day-to-Day Operations: Translate strategy into clear, detailed briefs for sales and channel partners and shepherd the work through to launch in market Own the business outcomes that matter — set KPIs for major initiatives and hold the work accountable to them Organizational Influence: Build strong, trusted partnerships across Product, Market Research, Finance, Analytics, and Marketing channels. This role has no direct authority over the teams it depends on, so trust and rapport are the actual mechanism that gets things done Champion data-backed decision-making as the standard, not the exception — using data to shape recommendations, earn alignment from executive leadership, and bring teams along on both the strategy and the “why” behind it   What You'll Need to Get the Job Done : BA/BS required, MBA preferred 5+ years of product marketing or go-to-market experience, ideally bringing new offerings to life Real depth as a builder — you've owned the upfront strategy for new products or services and carried it through to market, not just supported someone else's plan Comfort working with both market research and internal data analysis — you don't need to be the one running the study, but you know how to use the findings to build a strategy A track record of owning KPIs and being accountable to business results, not just the strategy behind them Fluency across sales-led and product-led motions — you understand both well enough to know which levers matter in each, and how that shapes the go-to-market plan A player-coach mindset — comfortable doing the work yourself while also building the cross-functional trust that gets others to act on your recommendations A collaborative operating style that builds real
