Description
Want to be a part of Asia Pacific & Middle East's (APME) largest, most innovative, and rapidly growing data centre company?
AirTrunk is a technology company with a powerful purpose - to scale and sustain the relentless growth of the region’s digital future. We do this by continuously redefining and delivering hyperscale data centres that meet the needs of our customers - the world’s most transformational companies. And we’re doing so sustainably, for today and tomorrow.
Having opened Australia’s first and largest hyperscale data centres in 2017, we set our eyes on rapid expansion and now operate a platform of hyperscale data centres across the APME region. With backing from our investors, including Blackstone, this is just the beginning…
Come join the A-Team at AirTrunk, where the cloud meets the ground.
Your Impact
As Senior Product Development Manager – Controls & Automation based in our Melbourne HQ, you will report to the Technical Director – Controls & Automation and work closely with various teams and external vendors across the Asia Pacific region, making your mark in a number of ways:
Work closely with equipment vendors to build out AirTrunk’s Plug and Play OSE (Owner Supplied Equipment) portfolio to fully realize our scalability strategy that maximizes quality/consistency whilst concurrently minimizes time/cost for systems integration and commissioning in development and construction
Attend, witness and drive fulfilment of OSE controls validation and templatization efforts as part of FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) workflows across all standard KOP (Kit of Parts), maintaining associated development and version control of AirTrunk’s corresponding Niagara-based OSE modules library
Constant product evolution via stakeholder feedback, incorporating evolving customer requirements, OSE vendor-specific product deficiencies (performance and operational risks), dev/project teams and controls subcontractors to ensure smooth end-to-end deployment and integration with campus-wide DCS, BMS and EPMS
What you’ll do
Establish and maintain close working relationship with all OSE vendors’ controls engineers to communicate and align expectations on latest AirTrunk’s Equipment Interfacing requirements (GMS-E)
Audit and review all embedded controls onboard OSE, including physical design and hardware selection, system architectures, data/point mapping and register lists, power and network failure modes, communications performance/vulnerabilities, equipment controls sequencing and algorithms, LLI and HLI interfacing
Develop and maintain AirTrunk’s Niagara-based OSE modules library corresponding to each version/generation of equipment including optional accessories or ordering variants
Develop and formalize AirTrunk’s own standardised Controls OSE, including but not limited to Tridium JACEs and software licences, DCS rack drawers or CMS panels
Develop symbiotic control system packages such as BESS/Flex load sequencer system for broader AirTrunk technical strategic capabilities
Develop and review FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) product Cx scripts associated with OSE onboard controls and AT Controls OSE validation and templatization sign-off processes to displace/replace site-based commissioning
Attend FATs for OSE and take part in system testing and validation
Optimize Development/Construction Cx scripts to reduce GC commissioning time and cost
