Role Summary The Senior Manager/Director of Strategy & Inorganic Growth will lead high-impact strategic initiatives across China, EAJ & India region, shaping long-term growth, inorganic expansion, and ecosystem partnerships. This role is responsible for deep strategic analysis and planning, merger and acquisition leadership, global supply chain contextualization, and innovation engagement, including startups, incubation, and venture collaboration. The position requires close coordination with executive leadership, commercial & segment teams, Corp Strategy team and external partners to translate strategy into measurable business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Strategic Partners Identification & Engagement Align the regional strategic partnership strategies with broader corporate and Power Systems priorities, M&A roadmap, and technology evolution. Identify opportunities for expanded collaboration across entire ecosystem of technology adoption, including early-stage innovation, joint R&D program, and IP licensing to commercial partnership, to minority and majority acquisition in the region Collaborating closely with regional commercial and corporate strategy teams for identification and execution. The main focused areas initially would include Power Electronics, AI, Robotics, IoT/Sensing, which might expand to the other areas with the evolution of the technology and the market. Support and coordinate other global partnership activities within China, EAJ & India region. Mergers & Acquisitions Leadership Lead end-to-end M&A activities across the region, from target identification to post-merger integration support. Drive organization and governance of M&A processes, including internal stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration. Assess strategic collaboration and acquisition options, including minority investments, joint ventures, and full acquisitions. Develop and review deal structures, financial models, and valuation frameworks to support investment decisions. Lead or support deal negotiations, due diligence, transaction execution, and closing activities. Partner with business leaders to enable post-deal integration, value creation, and performance tracking. Startup, Incubation & Venture Collaboration Support regional partners, startup and incubation initiatives, in collaboration with Corporate Strategy, PS Commercial team and other regional teams Identify and evaluate opportunities for engagement related to intellectual property, talent access, and emerging technologies. Define engagement models, including pilots, partnerships, minority investments, and technology scouting. Serve as a strategic interface between startups, internal innovation teams, and business leadership to accelerate commercialization and scale. Strategic Deep Dive & Global Business Contextualization Support comprehensive strategic deep-dive analyses to define long-term growth opportunities across the region. Translate macroeconomic, regulatory, customer, and competitive insights into actionable strategic recommendations. Partner with global and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment between strategy, execution, and operational readiness. Qualifications & Experience Advanced degree and/or Certification (MBA, CFA, CPA or equivalent) in Business, Strategy, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in corporate strategy, investment, M&A, or strategic partnerships—preferably in industrial, energy, or technology sectors. Proven track record leading complex M&A transactions and strategic initiatives across multiple geographies. Strong financial modeling, deal structuring, and negotiation capabilities. Experience operating in matrixed, global organizations with executive-level stakeholder management. High level of strategic thinking combined with operational and executional rigor.
