About the Opportunity
IANS Research is a private equity-backed cybersecurity advisory firm entering its next stage of growth and transformation. With more than 220 employees and ambitious plans for the future, we are evolving how we operate, scale, and compete across our Go-to-Market, Product, and Technology organizations.
We're seeking a Senior Manager, Organizational Design with a focus on Business Transformation to help shape that future.
This is not a traditional HRBP role. It is a highly analytical, execution-focused role within the People function, working closely with the Chief People Officer and executive team to bring rigor, structure, and follow-through to the organizational structures, workforce strategies, and operating models that will drive company performance. The CPO sets strategic direction and stays closely involved throughout; this role is where that thinking gets pressure-tested with data, refined, and turned into reality.
You will help shape organizational thinking alongside the CPO, then own the analytics and execution that turn it into reality—building the models, running the analysis, driving alignment, and managing complex organizational initiatives through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Organizational Design
Help shape future-state organizational structures in close partnership with the CPO
Own the analytics and execution behind organizational effectiveness efforts, including role architecture and operating model design
Support the evolution of IANS' commercial model through thoughtful GTM organizational design and workforce planning
Help clarify roles, responsibilities, decision rights, and accountability frameworks
Identify organizational bottlenecks and build the analysis behind recommended solutions that improve agility, scalability, and execution
Workforce Strategy
Build workforce plans that translate the CPO's strategic direction into concrete talent and capability plans
Own scenario modeling that informs hiring priorities, organizational investments, restructuring decisions, and capacity planning
Develop frameworks and metrics to assess organizational performance and workforce effectiveness
Partner closely with Finance and business leaders on headcount planning and investment decisions
Transformation & Change Leadership
Own execution of organizational transformation initiatives from assessment through implementation and stabilization, in partnership with the CPO
Create executive-ready recommendations, project plans, stakeholder strategies, and communications
Partner with the Senior Director, People Strategy to drive change management efforts in a fast-paced, evolving environment
AI & the Future of Work
Leverage AI to accelerate analysis, planning, decision-making, and execution
Help advise leaders on the impact of AI across workforce strategy, organizational design, and capability planning
Support the CPO in shaping future workforce plans that reflect changing skill requirements and emerging business needs
Champion practical AI adoption across the People functions and broader organization
Who is a fit for this role
You Move Fast and Exercise Good Judgment
You make sound decisions in complex situations and know when speed matters most.
You Are Very AI-Fluent
You use AI as part of your daily work- not just for writing emails but for analytics, presentations, and to push your thinking.
