Description
Are you ready to step into a leadership role where your tax expertise will shape the future of some of the most dynamic hedge fund businesses in the world? A leading professional services firm is looking for a Senior Manager to join their specialist Hedge Fund Tax team in London working with a broad mix of clients - from exciting start-ups to global multi-strategy managers.
About the Team
This is a specialist team within a wider financial services tax practice, supporting hedge fund managers across the full spectrum of their business - from fund structuring and compliance to key stakeholder support and investor relations. Although the team is UK-based, much of the work is international, with frequent collaboration across a global network and regular opportunities for overseas travel, particularly to the US.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Senior Manager, you'll take the lead on advisory-focused projects and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike. You'll:
• Deliver strategic tax advice on structuring, transactions, and UK compliance matters
• Act as a key point of contact for hedge fund and inbound clients
• Oversee the delivery of compliance work, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines
• Manage, coach and develop junior team members
• Work collaboratively across international offices on cross-border projects
This Role is for You if You're:
• An experienced tax advisor with a strong background in financial services or hedge funds
• Confident working directly with senior stakeholders and high-growth clients
• Commercially astute, technically strong, and proactive in your approach
• Professionally qualified (e.g., ACA, CTA or equivalent)
• Familiar with US tax matters (not essential, but an advantage)
What You'll Get in Return
This firm offers a supportive, flexible environment with a clear focus on wellbeing, personal development and career progression. Benefits include:
• Hybrid working with flexibility across home, office and client sites
• Private medical insurance and virtual GP services
• Generous volunteering and CSR opportunities
• Access to global mobility and secondment programmes
• A collaborative, inclusive culture where your contribution is truly valued
Looking to lead in a fast-moving, high-impact environment? Apply now and take your next big step in the world of hedge fund tax by emailing your CV to: [email protected].
