West Monroe is seeking a Senior Manager to join our Consumer & Industrial Products (C&IP) Team within our M&A practice. This role is designed for a seasoned consulting leader with deep experience in manufacturing operations, technology-enabled transformation, and complex program leadership across consumer products, industrials, or related sectors.
The Senior Manager will lead large-scale transformation programs that improve operational performance across manufacturing, supply chain, and enterprise technology environments. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to executive clients, helping them translate business strategy into practical operating model, process, IT, and OT-enabled changes. The role will also contribute to the growth of West Monroe’s operations and supply chain transformation capabilities through client delivery, team development, solution development, and market-facing activities.
Responsibilities
Serve as the executive delivery lead for complex, multi-workstream transformation programs across manufacturing, operations, supply chain, and technology
Lead manufacturing and supply chain transformation projects, including:
Strategic transformation roadmap development and execution planning
Workstream coordination across operations, plant, IT, and OT teams
Business process redesign and operating model changes
Risk, issue, and decision management
Executive communications and progress reporting
Benefits realization and value tracking
Oversee multiple engagement teams and workstreams, ensuring alignment across business, operations, plant, IT, and OT stakeholders
Serve as a trusted advisor to Director, VP, and C-suite executives across operations, supply chain, manufacturing, and technology functions
Lead technology-enabled transformation initiatives, including operating model, process, systems, data, and shop-floor technology changes
Drive operational transformation initiatives spanning planning, procurement, manufacturing, maintenance, quality, logistics, fulfillment, and distribution
Understand and advise on the technology landscape supporting manufacturing operations, including ERP, MES, WMS, TMS, automation, industrial data, and connected operations platforms
Translate strategic objectives into executable roadmaps and measurable business outcomes
Ensure adherence to quality, risk management, and delivery excellence standards
Act as the escalation point for complex client challenges and critical program decisions
Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, synthesize complex information, and support data-driven recommendations for clients, exercising sound judgment in evaluating outputs.
Apply AI technologies (e.g., generative AI, automation tools, data models) to enhance insights, improve delivery efficiency, and elevate the quality of client outcomes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
10+ years of consulting, transformation, or operational improvement experience, preferably serving consumer products, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial clients
Proven experience leading large-scale, multi-workstream transformation projects across manufacturing, supply chain, operations, and technology
Deep understanding of manufacturing operations and plant-level business processes, including production, maintenance, quality, materials management, warehousing, logistics, and fulfillment
Strong understanding of the technology landscape supporting manufacturing and supply chain operations, including ERP, MES, WMS, TMS, industrial automation, con
