Description
The  Senior Manager – Commercial (Baby & Elderly Care)  is responsible for leading the commercial strategy and execution for the Baby & Elderly Care  category . This role ensures cost optimisation, quality compliance, and supplier partnerships to drive category growth and profitability. 1. Category Strategy & Planning Develop and implement category strategies aligned with company objectives. Conduct market and industry analysis to identify trends and opportunities. Lead strategic sourcing processes, including supplier segmentation and negotiations. 2. Supplier Management Establish and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers. Negotiate trade terms and annual contracts to optimise cost and service levels. Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and sustainability standards. 3. Financial & Performance Management Monitor sales, margin, and other income against budget (MTD/YTD). Prepare business reports and analyze category performance vs. market benchmarks. Drive cost-saving initiatives and maintain profitability targets. 4. Product Development & Commercialization Collaborate with marketing and operations to launch new products and promotions. Ensure assortment and pricing strategies meet customer needs and business goals. 5. Cross-Functional Leadership Work closely with supply chain, finance, QA, and merchandising teams for end-to-end execution. Lead and develop a high-performing team to deliver category objectives. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). 8–10 years’ experience in FMCG, retail, or non-food categories; experience in personal care preferred. Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills. Knowledge of sustainability and food safety standards. Good command of English communication skills.
