Description
Position Summary:
The Senior Litigation Paralegal provides advanced litigation support to attorneys in all phases of complex litigation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in working on high-volume, deadline-driven matters.
Responsibilities:
Manage case files from inception through trial and appeal
Coordinating discovery
Prepare court documents for filing
Conduct legal research
Assist with trial preparation
Serves as a key resource on court practices and helps develop junior paralegals
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 10 years’ experience, preferably in a mid-to-large firm
Thorough understanding of the litigation process
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, iManage, Excel, and PowerPoint
Fundamental proficiency in research and internet platforms such as Bloomberg Law, Lexis, Westlaw, CM/ECF, NYSCEF, and PacerPro
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and planning skills
Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
The ability to work overtime as required, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and to travel for trials or work remotely as required
Ability to work with other managers and employees at all levels in a collaborative and collegial environment

Salary Range $100,000 — $125,000 USD
