Description
Key Responsibilities 1. Legal Debt Collection Prepare, review, and issue legal demand letters and debt reminders in compliance with applicable laws and internal procedures. Oversee and manage debt recovery processes, ensuring efficiency and legal integrity. 2. Litigation Management Represent the company in civil and commercial court proceedings. Manage end-to-end litigation processes, including case strategy, documentation, and filings. Coordinate with external legal counsel when outsourcing cases. Prepare evidence briefs, track case progress, and provide regular updates to management. 3. Field Operations & Legal Enforcement Conduct on-site debt collection activities and investigations related to enforcement orders. Liaise with courts, legal execution offices, and debtors to ensure effective enforcement of legal actions. 4. Legal Coordination Collaborate closely with internal departments (Finance, Accounting, and Management) to provide legal insights and support. Act as the main point of contact with external stakeholders, including courts, opposing counsel, counterparties, and government authorities. 5. Internal Legal Advisory Analyze legal risks and provide strategic recommendations to support business decisions. Advise on legal implications of new projects, partnerships, and operational activities. 6. Contract Drafting & Review Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal agreements related to commercial and litigation matters. Ensure all agreements align with legal standards and protect company interests. 7. Regulatory Compliance Monitor changes in laws and regulations and assess their impact on the business. Provide guidance to ensure all departments operate in full compliance with legal requirements. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LL.B. / LL.M.). Licensed Attorney with a valid lawyer’s license from the Lawyers Council of Thailand. Minimum 5 years of experience in civil and commercial litigation. Possesses a valid driver’s license (for both car or motorcycle). Basic proficiency in English communication (reading and writing). Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
