We are a global team of game lovers who are developing, publishing and innovating the mobile games industry, connecting millions of people around the world daily.

What You’ll Do
We’re looking for a Senior/Lead 3D Character Artist to own character art for WWE Champions and set the standard for how the biggest WWE Superstars come to life. In this role, you’ll pair expert craft with leadership — defining the quality bar and our stylized-realism visual language, growing the character art team, and representing the discipline across the studio. You’ll be the bridge between art and Design, Product, and Production: taking feasibility calls, scoping what’s realistic, and making sure we ship recognizable Superstars on a demanding live-service cadence without compromising quality. Responsibilities will include:
Owning, documenting, and championing the character art quality bar and the game’s stylized-realism visual language
Leading, mentoring, and growing the character art team - reviews, feedback, career development, and hiring
Delivering the most complex hero characters yourself when needed, setting the benchmark the team follows
Acting as the primary point of contact for character art across the studio, representing the discipline in planning with Design, Product, Production, and Tech Art
Owning feasibility calls - assessing incoming feature, content, and Superstar requests against art scope, technical budgets (poly count, memory, mobile performance), and schedule, and giving clear, honest answers on what’s achievable, the trade-offs, and realistic alternatives
Scoping and estimating character art work, providing estimates and timelines that feed roadmap and live-ops planning
Translating design, product, and marketing goals into clear art requirements, tasks, and priorities for the team
Planning team capacity and distributing work across internal artists and outsourcing, directing and reviewing vendor work to ensure it meets the bar
Establishing and continuously improving character modeling and sculpting pipelines, tools, and best practices in partnership with tech art
Partnering with animation and tech art on deformation, rigging readiness, and optimization, and driving solutions to hard technical-art problems
Supporting Superstar likeness accuracy and brand/approval requirements, coordinating with stakeholders and the licensor as needed
Flagging risks, resolving competing priorities, unblocking the team, and escalating when necessary
What We’re Looking For
Expert-level character art skills - mastery of human likeness, anatomy, low-poly game-ready modeling, stylized realism, and clothing/gear
8+ years creating character art for shipped games, including time leading or directing a team
Proven ability to set and hold a quality bar across a team and a large body of work
Strong cross-functional communication - comfortable partnering with design, product, and production, and making and defending feasibility and trade-off decisions with non-artists
Solid grasp of the technical constraints that drive feasibility on mobile (poly/texture budgets, memory, performance) and the ability to scope and estimate work realistically
Strong leadership and mentoring skills, able to give direction and rally a team around a vision
Experience defining or significantly improving character art pipelines and workflows
