Senior IT Solutions Architect – Mobile & Cloud Banking About the Client Our client is Poland’s largest financial institution and a market leader in digital banking, delivering cutting-edge services to millions of active daily users. About the Role We are seeking a Senior IT Solutions Architect to co-define the target architecture for Poland’s premier mobile banking ecosystem. Operating at the intersection of product and platform engineering (50/50 split), you will design microservices-based, distributed, and cloud-native solutions designed to handle high-concurrency traffic with near 100% availability. What You Will Do Architect High-Scale Systems: Design complex, distributed software architecture and system integrations for high-volume mobile banking services. Bridge Platform & Product: Split your focus 50/50 between driving core Tech Platform architecture in the Foundation team and supporting dedicated domain product teams. Define Engineering Standards: Establish requirements for hardware, infrastructure, tech stack, service orchestration, and software development best practices. Integrate & Document: Model system integrations (C4/UML) and maintain complete, high-quality architectural documentation. Ensure Security & Performance: Partner with cybersecurity experts on access layers, OAuth 2.0/OIDC implementations, and cryptographic standards. Drive Data-Backed Decisions: Independently gather technical domain context across the organization to recommend and implement architectural optimizations. What We Expect Experience: 5+ years in IT solution architecture and complex system integrations. Domain Knowledge: Proven track record in designing architecture for mobile applications and high-availability, high-concurrency systems in the financial sector . Modern Stack & Practices: Practical experience with microservices architecture, Kubernetes (k8s) orchestration, containerization, and cloud CI/CD delivery pipelines. Platform Engineering: Solid grasp of domain-driven platform teams supporting product engineering teams. Security & Auth: Strong understanding of authentication/authorization protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC) and cryptography (digital signatures, PKI, encryption). Code & Modeling: Hands-on ability to model in C4/UML, read/analyze code in Java, Kotlin, or Swift , and work with Git. Education & Languages: Higher degree in Computer Science (or related) and fluency in reading technical documentation in English. What is Offered Salary: 180 – 190 PLN/h net + VAT (B2B contract, depending on experience). Work Model: Hybrid (minimum 2 days/month in the Warsaw office). Contract Duration: 6–12 months (with a high probability of long-term extension). Location: Warsaw, Poland. Impact & Scale: Direct influence on an application powering the daily financial transactions of millions of users using a modern tech stack.
