TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Senior Civil Engineer role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.
Responsibilities:
• Lead civil engineering design and execution across multiple project phases, from early studies through construction
• Develop and review design criteria, specifications, and technical deliverables
• Perform and validate engineering calculations; resolve complex technical issues
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to ensure integrated project delivery
• Support procurement, permitting, and subcontracting activities for civil works
• Monitor project progress, budgets, schedules, and key quantities; provide reporting and forecasts
• Prepare and contribute to technical documentation including studies, reports, and scope definitions
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Accredited Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive civil engineering experience
• Strong background in areas such as earthworks, drainage, infrastructure, and site development
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across teams and with external stakeholders
• Experience preparing technical reports, specifications, and presentations
• Knowledge of applicable regulations, codes, and engineering standards
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a time-conscious and deadline-driven environment
• Candidates must be available to work onsite in the Vancouver office.
