Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid – Local Candidates Only)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $75,000–$80,000 annually, plus performance bonus

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer & Studio Manager to serve as both a design leader and operational partner within our growing firm. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned interior designer who is passionate about luxury residential design and excited to help shape the future of an expanding studio.
In this leadership role, you will oversee high-end residential projects from concept through installation while managing day-to-day studio operations, mentoring junior designers, and ensuring every project reflects the firm's high standards of quality and service. You'll play a key role in refining studio processes, strengthening client relationships, and supporting the continued growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Design Leadership
Lead luxury residential interior design projects from initial consultation through final installation.
Develop creative design concepts, space plans, furniture layouts, finish selections, and construction documentation.
Prepare and review floor plans, elevations, specifications, and presentation materials.
Ensure design excellence, consistency, and attention to detail throughout every phase of each project.
Conduct design reviews and provide quality control for project documentation and deliverables.
Project Management
Manage multiple luxury residential projects simultaneously while maintaining schedules, budgets, and project milestones.
Oversee projects valued at $250,000 and above from design development through completion.
Coordinate with contractors, architects, consultants, vendors, and installers to ensure successful project execution.
Review specifications, purchase orders, and client selections for accuracy.
Schedule and attend client meetings, site visits, installations, and final walkthroughs.
Resolve project challenges proactively while maintaining exceptional client satisfaction.
Studio Leadership
Mentor, coach, and support junior designers to foster professional growth and design excellence.
Assist with workload planning, project assignments, and team collaboration.
Help establish and improve studio systems, workflows, and operational procedures.
Promote a collaborative, positive, and solutions-oriented work environment.
Support recruiting, onboarding, and training initiatives as the studio continues to grow.
Client Relations & Business Support
Build trusted relationships with clients by providing exceptional communication and service throughout each project.
Present design concepts and recommendations with confidence and professionalism.
Collaborate with leadership on business development opportunities and strategic initiatives.
Represent Sixth Sense Studio professionally with clients, vendors, builders, and industry partners.
QualificationsRequired
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
NCIDQ Certification.
Minimum of 7 years of luxury residential interior design experience.
Experience managing residential design projects valued at $250,000 or more.
Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, detailing, and documentation.
Excellent space planning and technical drawing skills.
Outstanding organizational, leadership, and project management abilities.
Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to local project sites.
