Description
Roboyo AI is a category shaper in Applied AI and Agentic Automation.  We help leading enterprises move from automation projects and AI experiments into governed, production-grade systems that execute real work across workflows, processes, products and services.   Our heritage is in scaled enterprise automation; our future is Applied AI and Agentic Automation: autonomous agents, AI engineering squads, process orchestration, data and knowledge foundations, and human-in-the-loop governance embedded deeply into how our clients operate.   We are not here to sell AI theatre. We are here to turn AI into working systems, measurable outcomes and repeatable transformation programs.     About the Role   We're looking for a Senior HR Advisor with deep expertise in India payroll and labour law compliance to join our HR team in Hyderabad.   You'll be the subject matter expert on payroll operations and statutory compliance for our India workforce , working closely with our payroll vendor (ADP), supporting employees with compensation queries, and keeping us on the right side of an evolving regulatory landscape, including under the new Labour Codes.   You will also be responsible for supporting onboarding, employee relations, performance, engagement, and people operations. As we grow and automate more of our routine processes, there is genuine opportunity to take on increasing responsibility and help shape how the function evolves. If you want to build and grow, this is the right environment for you!       What You'll Do   Own the collaboration with ADP: managing payroll inputs, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accurate, timely processing   Be the go-to person for employees on payslips, statutory deductions, tax declarations, and take-home reconciliation   Ensure ongoing compliance with PF, ESI, PT, TDS, Shops & Establishments Act, and related statutory requirements   Monitor developments under India's new Labour Codes and translate regulatory changes into practical action   Maintain compliance documentation and support audits as required   Support end-to-end onboarding for new joiners   Manage day-to-day employee queries across policies, processes and benefits.   Support managers on employee relations matters, performance conversations, PIPs, grievances, and disciplinary processes   Coordinate performance review cycles   Maintain accurate employee records and system data integrity   Support engagement initiatives and pulse surveys   Contribute to HR policy reviews and ensure they stay current and compliant   Partner with the global HR team on cross-regional projects and initiatives       What You Bring   7–10+ years of HR experience with mandatory, hands-on India payroll experience   Strong working knowledge of Indian labour law and statutory compliance, including the new Labour Codes   2+ years' experience working with payroll vendors or platforms; ADP experience is a plus   Ability to explain payroll and compliance topics clearly to employees, managers, and leadership   Generalist HR knowledge. Comfortable moving between compliance, operations, and people matters   A process improvement mindset, you look for ways to make things work better, not just keep them running   Prior experience in a consulting or professional services environment is highly desirable   Prior experience working in international teams and with senior stakeholders i
