Description
The Housing Advice and Benefits Team delivers the front-line service delivering support to assist clients who are rough sleeping, homeless or at risk of losing their home or wish to join the Council’s Housing Waiting List.
In addition, we also assist clients to pay their rent and council tax, or to receive discretionary financial support.
The team has recently gone through a restructure to help us recover from the pandemic and meet the fresh challenges that are facing us.
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative person to work closely with our Team Supervisor (Homeless and Prevention) to deliver a service that meets the needs and aspirations of our clients.
Not only will you need to have a detailed understanding of the legislation, you will also need to have a commitment to deliver service improvement and put clients truly at the centre of what we do in line with our CANDO values.
