We could be a great match as we are now looking for our new game designer!     About us   COFFEE STAIN NORTH is a small game developer based in Stockholm that belongs to the Coffee Stain Group. Since the company was founded in 2013, we have grown to 30 employees and are now open to adding a couple of new friends!     Goat Simulator 3 is a third-person sandbox adventure developed by Coffee Stain North in which the player can live out their wildest dreams... as a goat. Released in 2022, this open-world sandbox game takes the chaotic spirit of the original to new heights and offers expanded multiplayer support, a larger and more detailed environment, and even more absurd physics-driven gameplay.  Players can explore the island of San Angora solo or with friends, wreaking havoc as a goat (or one of many unlockable characters) through a wide range of quests, mini-games, and bizarre encounters.   Understanding games like Goat Simulator 3 means appreciating the fine line between "broken" and "brilliant." If that sounds like your kind of energy, come and get to know our herd!   The role   As Designer at CSN, you will work hands on in engine, build and implement features/content, be part of content ideation, fix issues, as well as support collaboration between disciplines.    You will:   Carry ideas from conceptualization through to detailed design.   Create prototypes and make final implementations for gameplay mechanics and objectives.   Ensure that features developed by the design team are coherent with other game systems and the overall game vision.   Help with organizing cross-disciplinary strike-teams to shape and deliver content for the game.     Your background   To succeed in the role, we believe that you have about four to six years of experience in a game designer role and have been part of at least one full project cycle. For us it isn’t the current title you have that matters, but the experience you’ve gained by doing the work - collaborating, building, and shipping games.    We work in Unreal Engine and Blueprint visual scripting, and prior work experience with these tools is a requirement.   To enjoy this role, we see that you are a person who can be part of fostering a collaborative environment with a focus on ideas and solutions.
