Optimus IT Services is looking for a Senior Functional Analyst with outstanding expertise in SQL for our client in the region of Brussels. Position Details: • Expertise required: Strong knowledge of SQL and the ability to work with large amounts of data independently. Closing On : Oct 31, 2024 Salary : Euro 60000 – 80000 Yearly Company : Optimus IT Services Project Information The project focuses on building a new data warehouse for regulatory reporting for a whole group and its entities across six EU countries. The project involves a multi-tenant warehouse development with separate instances for each entity and a consolidated Group Tenant Warehouse. Responsibilities include analysis and challenge of business requirements, translating business requirements into functional designs, implementation of business requirements, testing/validating implementations, documentation, and delivering reports. Role and Responsibilities • Analyze complex business processes and software systems, identify problems, and propose solutions. • Translate business requirements into functional design while complying with existing architecture and standards. • Implement business requirements and test/validate the implementations. • Work on documentation and hand over the delivered solution. • Deliver reports using standardized measurement and reporting tools. Profile and Requirements • At least 5 years of working experience as a functional analyst. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to break down complex problems into smaller components and identify patterns and trends. • Strong SQL knowledge and ability to navigate an extended and complex data model. • Great communication skills and a team player attitude. • Fluency in English (written and spoken). • Familiarity with concepts such as FINREP, COREP, and BASEL is a plus.
