Description
What is Kick?
Kick is a global live-streaming platform for all types of entertainment content. Our mission is to empower content creators, event organisers, and content rights holders by providing them with the tools and revenue-sharing structures they need to monetise and grow their audiences.
As a result, we are quickly becoming a household name, attracting top-tier creators and expanding rapidly worldwide. You may have seen us in the UFC octagon or on the side of an F1 car, as we seize every opportunity that comes our way.
Kick is now recognised in the big four of live streaming platforms globally, standing tall alongside YouTube, TikTok, and Twitch. In 3 years, we’ve already made a significant impact and have plenty more to achieve. We’re at the beginning of an exciting journey and are looking for brilliant minds to join us.

Join the team shaping how millions of users discover and engage with content across one of the world's fastest-growing live streaming platforms. Discovery & Presence powers the features that help over 100M users discover content, connect with creators, and stay engaged through personalised recommendations, search, presence, and rewards.
You'll build high-performance frontend experiences using React and Next.js, creating fast, intuitive interfaces for AI-driven recommendations, Drops, Channel Points, global badges, search, and major campaigns with partners like Rockstar. Your work will sit on top of systems serving 1B+ public API requests every month within a platform processing 5B+ backend requests daily, where performance, responsiveness, and scalability are critical.
If you enjoy solving complex frontend challenges around real-time state, performance, personalisation and want end-to-end ownership in a modern engineering environment, this is your opportunity to build experiences used by millions every day, right from Melbourne.
