Senior FP&A Manager - Entertainment & Sports

We are partnering with a leading international business within the Entertainment & Sports industry to recruit a commercially focused Senior FP&A Manager . This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance professional to play a key role in driving business performance, influencing strategic decision-making, and supporting continued international growth.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will own the financial planning cycle, deliver meaningful commercial insights, and provide high-quality financial analysis across a dynamic and fast-paced business.
The Role
Financial Planning and Analysis
• Own the full FP&A cycle including annual budgets, semi-annual reforecasts, long-range plans, and monthly management reporting
• Produce management reporting packs for executive leadership including P&L analysis, bridges, new business pipeline, and KPI tracking
• Drive variance analysis against budget / reforecast and prior year, with clear narrative for senior stakeholders
• Ensure consistent, accurate, and timely reporting into group finance and executive leadership, including the management of dashboards
• Improve forecast reliability through better processes, stakeholder alignment, and data-driven modelling
Commercial and Strategic Partnering
• Serve as primary finance business partner to CAA International business leaders, providing insight and strategic support
• Partner with senior leadership and commercial teams on new deal pipeline progress and client- level profitability analysis
• Serve as the CAA International lead for compensation expense data and analytics, providing critical metrics and strategic insights to senior leadership and business partners
• Support M&A evaluation and post-acquisition performance management where required
Competencies
• Commercially-minded with the ability to connect financial analysis to business strategy
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
• High attention to detail; rigorous in modelling and reporting accuracy
• Strong written communication skills - able to produce clear, well-structured memos, reports, and briefing documents for senior audiences
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative with a track record of building trusted relationships with non-finance stakeholders
• Ability to oversee the maintenance and enhancement of reporting infrastructure, dashboards, and analytical tools (including via platforms such as Power BI, Workday, SAP, and Adaptive)
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
• 15+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, business analytics, or related finance functions
• Demonstrated ability to consolidate and analyse complex data across multiple systems and organisational structures
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities
• Executive-level communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Ability to manage commercially-sensitive and highly-confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint and executive presentation skills
