LN20464 | Senior Procurement FM Category Specialist | Full time | Permanent | Leeds | £40,000 - £48,000 Client: Castlefield are working with an organisation in Leeds as they look to recruit a personable Senior Procurement Category Specialist (FM) to join their Procurement team. This role offers hybrid working. Duties will include: • Provide procurement support for strategic initiatives • Supporting the Category Manager in delivering a category management approach to all procurement activity and deputising in their absence. • Assisting with the Category Manager to design, implement, deliver and review category strategies. • Being responsible daily management of other team members including Category Officers, Senior Buyers, Buyers and Assistants. • Supporting end users by being a technical expert in matters relating to contractual terms and conditions (JCT/NEC). • Manage and deliver complex, technical, and high value procurements. • Promoting the use of corporate contracts and framework agreements, minimising off-contract spend and achieving best value for money. • Examples of some work you will be responsible for include; Facility Management services, Facility Support and Construction & Maintenance. • Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of new procurement legislation • Gather information, conduct research, analyse data, and prepare reports • Collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders The successful candidate will: • Public or Private Sector experience is required • Experience of managing and delivering procurement related processes and activities • A strong background in procurement, with a proactive mindset, willing to come in and hit the ground running • An FM/ construction background is essential To apply for the position please use the link provided or contact Libby Nightingale at Castlefield Recruitment.
