The Opportunity You’ll be joining a hugely successful FMCG manufacturing site (part of a market leading international Plc) as the key finance business partner / site finance lead. The role sits within the capable, talented and dynamic SLT locally. Managing a team of 3 your remit is focused on added value. You’ll be drilling into all of the commercial levers of success for the business unit, bringing vital challenge and insights to influence evidence-based decision making. It’s a role for someone with real commerciality. Someone who enjoys being part of the site leadership team and working in true harmony and collaboration with operational managers and directors across the facility. Required: • CIMA / ACCA / ACA • Clear experience of adding value as a business partner to the leadership team within a large fast paced business. • Someone who enjoys being part of change and projects focused on adding value, driving growth and making an impact to the numbers rather than simply reporting them. • Ability to get under the skin of the factors that impact cost variances, margin, profit, wastage and production efficiencies in a complex business (£100m + turnover). • Someone proactive who will enjoy working with autonomy. • A confident communicator who can lead and coach a small team.
