Description
Key Responsibilities: • Identify, propose, and secure new potential locations/sites across Malaysia for store expansion. • Conduct end-to-end negotiations with developers, landlords, and property agents to finalize tenancy agreements. • Plan and carry out site visits to evaluate potential locations, ensuring timely submission of proposals. • Collaborate with internal departments (Legal, Projects, Operations, etc.) on administration, store fit-out, and preparation of legal documents. • Monitor and ensure department KPIs are achieved (e.g., number of store openings, store sales performance). • Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with landlords, property agents, and developers. • Prepare business proposals, reports, and presentations to management on potential site evaluations and project progress. Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, Marketing, or a related field. • Minimum 1-3 years of working experience in business development, property acquisition, leasing, or related field (retail/FMCG experience is an added advantage). • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. • Proficient in Mandarin to facilitate smoother communication with developers, landlords, and agents. • Ability to read and write in Chinese is a plus. • Willing to travel nationwide for site visits and business meetings. • Results-driven, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. • Good knowledge of tenancy agreements, property market trends, and retail expansion strategies.
