Accept Close Job Title: [OCB-IN] Senior Executive, Accounting & Finance Executive Business Company: Device and Module Solutions (DMS) Location: Bangalore, IN Employment Type: Permanent Short Description Role and Responsibility Handle a full set of accounts (including General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables & Fixed Assets) Maintaining the General Ledger and executing day-to-day entries for all transactions Processing vendor invoices, employee expense claims Tracking customer outstanding balances and following up on collections Keep the fixed assets record up to date Reconciliation (i.e. bank, intercompany account, vendors, inventory etc) Perform month-end & year-end closing independently Daily updates of the cashbook & monitor the cash book fund requirement Maintain the monthly exchange rate in the system Check to ensure master (Customer, vendors, employees) in system are correctly created by the counterparty (Shared service centre) Tax Compliance Liaise with tax consultant on the company yearly income tax (CIT) Liaise with outsourced accounting firm on the Indian local tax filing (i.e. TDS, GST, etc) Liaise with both internal and external auditors, handle audit queries and liaise with auditors Liaise with the counterparty (Shared service Centre – Payment factory) for the monthly payment for vendor, employee claim, tax-related payment etc Liaise with banks Ensure compliance with all financial reporting, statutory requirements and internal controls and company rules & regulation Financial reporting to both Japan and Asia Pacific Headquarter Support ad hoc matters requested by the business operations Contribute for process improvements Other ad-hoc duties as assigned Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or related field; Minimum 5-7 years' progressive accounts and Finance experience, preferably in Electronics sector Strong understanding in India taxation & statutory compliance Strong HR knowledge in Import and Export regulations Independent & result oriented with high personal drive to succeed Good verbal and written English communication Req ID: 3378 Opens in a new tab.
