[What you will be working on]
GovTech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Enterprise Software Specialist to lead the implementation, customization, and ongoing support of Human Capital Management (HCM) enterprise software solutions. This role is critical in enhancing our HR operational efficiency and delivering seamless digital experiences for public service officers.
Lead the full lifecycle implementation of complex HCM enterprise software solutions, including requirements gathering, system design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
Act as a subject matter expert for HCM modules (e.g., Core HR, Payroll, Time & Attendance, Talent Management, Benefits) within the chosen enterprise software platform.
Collaborate closely with HR stakeholders, business users, and technical teams to translate business requirements into effective and scalable system solutions.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, manage user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure the quality and integrity of system functionalities.
Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution for complex HCM system issues, often acting as an escalation point.
Manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
Develop and maintain detailed system documentation, user manuals, and training materials.
Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing guidance to end-users and junior support staff.
Analyze system performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend innovative solutions to optimize HCM processes.
Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and new functionalities within the HCM enterprise software landscape.
[What we are looking for]
The successful candidate will serve as both a technical contributor and strategic leader, conducting comprehensive business process analysis across Core HR, Talent Management, and Workforce Planning functions whilst directly executing complex configurations, customisations, and system integrations. Key responsibilities include leading HCM implementations, building proof-of-concepts, developing advanced workforce analytics, and ensuring seamless integration with critical government systems including payroll and learning management platforms.
This position requires a trusted technical specialist who can operate as an in-house expert and technical lead to vendor teams, demonstrating strong ownership of moderately complex to advanced project scopes. The role demands deep platform mastery validated through practical delivery, with impact extending beyond individual outcomes to improve team-level quality through enhanced configuration patterns, knowledge transfer, and strengthened system reliability.
