Description
Hypori is a cybersecurity SaaS company providing virtual workspace platforms for secure mobile access to enterprise applications. This Senior Engineer role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure platforms with emphasis on Kubernetes and EC2-based workloads, using Infrastructure as Code principles across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
What You'll Do
• Design, develop and support Hypori platforms for product development and customers
• Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP using Infrastructure as Code principles
• Lead development and optimization of container and virtual machine-based deployment platforms for cloud-native deployments
• Develop automation to standardize infrastructure provisioning and management across business units
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to elevate infrastructure engineering practices across teams
• Participate in on-call, production assistance, and escalation schedules
What You Need
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 12+ years of progressive software engineering experience with cloud-native development and modern DevOps practices
• 5+ years of hands-on experience deploying and managing applications in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• 4+ years of software development and automation experience using Python, Java, or Go in production environments
• 4+ years of Linux/Unix system administration, configuration, and performance tuning
• Strong expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) with production deployment experience
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and configuration management (Ansible, Puppet)
• Hands-on experience with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks
• Experience in delivering software releases to SaaS implementations and air-gapped installations
• Proven experience building, integrating, and automating RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
• Experience with multi-account/subscription cloud environments and landing zones
• Expertise in designing and implementing observability solutions including metrics collection, centralized logging, distributed tracing, and alerting
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, networking concepts, and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL)
• Experience with Site Reliability Engineering practices and incident response procedures
• Knowledge of service mesh technologies (Istio) and Kubernetes
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and foster a culture of excellence
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills

• Advanced certifications in cloud platforms or related fields
• Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio)
• Competency in using LLM tools (Claude, etc.)

$180,000–$195,000 USD + 10% bonus, medical, dental, and vision insurance, parental leave, life and disability packages, 401(k) plan with employer-matching contributions vesting from day one, performance bonus contingent on company-wide performance
