What You Will Be Doing
As Senior Director of Product Marketing, you will lead how ChargePoint brings its hardware and software products to market across commercial, fleet, and residential segments. You will own product positioning, go-to-market strategy, and launch execution, ensuring measurable impact on revenue, pipeline growth, and win rates. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will both define strategy and directly contribute to key deliverables. You will partner closely with Product and Sales leadership to align market needs with product direction, equip the sales organization to compete effectively, and build a high-performing product marketing function that strengthens ChargePoint’s market presence.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
Lead and own product marketing strategy and execution across hardware and software offerings
Develop and refine product positioning and messaging aligned to target customer segments
Drive go-to-market strategies and end-to-end product launches across multiple segments
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Engineering to align on priorities and execution
Equip sales teams with tools, content, and training to improve pipeline generation and win rates
Build, scale, and lead a high-performing product marketing function
Conduct and leverage competitive intelligence to inform strategy and positioning
Represent the company to analysts, press, and customers as a credible industry voice
Leverage AI tools to improve research, content development, and operational efficiency
Contribute directly to key deliverables with a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on execution
Requirements
Deep familiarity with EV charging, cleantech, or adjacent energy markets, including buyers, sales cycles, and competitors
Proven experience building and leading product marketing functions
Demonstrated ability to develop product positioning and messaging
Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels
Strong cross-functional collaboration with Product, Sales, and Engineering
Experience driving measurable business outcomes such as pipeline growth, adoption, and win rates
Preferred Skills
Experience leading go-to-market strategies and product launches across multiple segments
Background in competitive intelligence development and sales enablement
Experience managing and developing product marketing teams
Ability to present to analysts, press, and customers as a credible industry voice
Proficiency using AI tools for research, content creation, and analysis
