ABOUT THE JOB Palette is a fast-growing startup at the center of the creator economy. Our team of 80+ is working towards defining the standard for talent management and marketing in an era of new media dominated by digital-first entertainers. Our management infrastructure mirrors the depth of attention given to the world’s biggest cultural and entertainment icons, and previously reserved for artists in traditional arenas of entertainment. Today, it services a roster of 200+ creators and influencers with a combined following of 1B+ serving over 45.8B impressions monthly. Our creators have starred in Super Bowl commercials, launched national brands, and have been featured in nearly every major publication. Our marketing agency executes strategy for some of the most influential brands and organizations in the world, including: The Biden White House, Amazon, simplehuman, and the Gates Foundation. 42% of Americans under the age of 40 are no longer accessible through traditional marketing channels – we enable organizations to speak to those audiences. Our marketing team has been recognized with 5 Shorty Impact Awards, and has advised three US Presidents on the future of the internet. THE ROLE Palette Media is seeking a Senior Director of Distribution to lead how brands break through in an increasingly fragmented social landscape. This role sits at the center of creator marketing, content creation, and paid amplification—owning the strategy and execution behind how campaigns are distributed, scaled, and optimized for performance. You’ll be responsible for building and evolving innovative distribution frameworks that maximize reach, efficiency, and measurable impact across platforms. You’ll lead end-to-end creator activations and oversee the full content distribution ecosystem—from UGC pipelines and paid media to emerging channels like clipping networks and meme ecosystems. We’re looking for a strategic operator and team leader who thrives in fast-moving environments, can translate client goals into high-performing campaigns, and consistently pushes the boundaries of how creator content is activated and amplified. Responsibilities - Develop Distribution Strategies: Craft social media amplification strategies on behalf of our clients that meet their audience and performance goals and maximize their budget across channels, optimizing for cost-efficiency, performance, and measurable outcomes. - Vendor Management: Lead vendor and partner negotiations across creators, platforms, and paid media channels—driving favorable economics, scalable pricing structures, and long-term partnerships - Creator Marketing Activations: Own end-to-end development, execution, and optimization of creator-driven campaigns—proactively driving timelines, identifying next steps, and ensuring campaigns deliver against performance goals without requiring direction. - Content & Distribution Strategy: Oversee UGC content pipelines, paid media amplification, clipping and amplification accounts, and other innovative distribution methods to ensure visibility and impact. Own and optimize campaign performance from a distribution perspective across all channels and tactics. Identify, test, and scale emerging distribution tactics (e.g., clipping networks, meme ecosystems, new platform behaviors). - Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing team responsible for sourcing creators, managing activations, and sustaining industry relationships. Set the pace, drive accountability, and proactively remove blockers—modeling ownership and follow-through in all workstreams. Develop and refine new processes as needed. - Industry Relationships: Build and maintain strong partnerships with creators, independent talent, management companies, agencies, and other partners to stay at the forefront of creator culture.

 - Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with business development, client services, strateg
