The Opportunity
Are you a disciplined sales leader who thrives on leading teams and closing high-value, complex platform deals? At Quantexa, we are dedicated to driving innovation and delivering a clear return on investment for the financial services industry through more trusted risk management, financial crime detection, and customer analytics.
As a key leader in our newly reorganized Go-To-Market team, this position is pivotal to our strategy to expand our footprint in the North American banking market. We are looking for an exceptional "player-coach" sales leader to build and define the sales engine for our Core Banking segment (major banks outside our top-tier global strategic accounts, typically those with >$100B in assets).
This is an opportunity to lead, mentor, and expand a team of 4 to 6 motivated sales professionals, transitioning them from a point-solution focus to selling our broader, transformational Contextual Decision Intelligence (CDI) platform capabilities.
Location & Hybrid Model
- Primary Hub: New York City (Boston or Charlotte we may also consider).
- Requirements: East Coast based clients and partners
- In-Office: An expectation of 2-3 days per week (typically Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in our New York office to foster collaboration, unless traveling for client meetings.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and Execute GTM Strategy: Define and execute the sales strategy and go-to-market plan for the North American Core Banking team, establishing a disciplined, repeatable sales cadence.
- Act as a True Player-Coach: Manage and mentor a team of 4 to 6 Sales Directors while actively participating in the sales process. You will lead from the front, joining your reps in the trenches to co-sell and help navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
- Drive 7-Figure Platform Revenue: Consistently deliver against sales targets, securing high-value enterprise platform deals and building a robust, qualified pipeline.
- Position Outcomes over Features: Move beyond selling simple point-solutions (like traditional AML or Fraud tools) and instead educate bank executives on the strategic business value of a unified Decision Intelligence platform.
- Cross-Functional Orchestration: Partner closely with critical internal teams—including Solutions Engineering (SE) to build technical trust, Alliances to leverage co-sell opportunities, and Industry experts to align our platform with key banking pain points.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven Leadership: Extensive experience as an enterprise software sales manager or director in North America, with a demonstrated ability to hire, grow, and elevate high-performing sales teams.
- Consultative Sales Discipline: A strict, process-driven seller (e.g., MEDDPICC, Sandler, or similar methodologies) with a track record of instilling this qualification rigor into your sales team.
- Complex Deal Track Record: A proven history of personally closing and overseeing large, complex, 7-figure enterprise software/platform transactions within the financial services sector.
- Hands-on Mentality: A rejection of "command and control" management. You are an active selling partner who loves rolling up your sleeves, chasing inbound leads, networking at events, and directly par
