The new colleague is expected to independently drive or contribute to various ongoing initiatives within the development team. This includes designing new implementations and transitioning those to production status with appropriate automation, monitoring, and documentation. The candidates responsibilities will also include engineering, development, and deployment of global software delivery, software configuration, and software packaging related tooling. Products are developed across various languages and Microsoft technologies, including .net, C#, HTML5, Angular, TypeScript, PowerShell, using SQL Server backends and SCCM as a distribution mechanism. The candidate will have a very strong technical foundation, a strategic mind-set, great communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with others in a truly global team. Responsibilities include the hands-on development of business-critical functions and the management of the design process, with a particular focus on architectural changes, improving stability and performance, and fine-tuning the user experience.
