Apply now and do your part in bringing extraordinary music experiences to people’s lives! ** Join Us ** Job Description The Data Operations team's mission is to provide Deezer teams with trusted data, innovative data solutions that are easy to use and understand. Within Data Operations, the Data Platform team owns and evolves the technical foundation that powers all data across Deezer. The scope covers the full lifecycle of our data: ingesting hundreds of millions of streaming events per day (music, podcasts, lyrics, and more) into our data lake, transforming and curating this data at scale, and making it reliably available for internal consumers (royalties calculation, content reporting, analytics, recommendation, and beyond). In short: we build and operate the data infrastructure that connects every Deezer team to the data they need. What you will do: Improve the reliability and efficiency of the data ingestion system, with various data sources such as Kafka, MariaDB, Segment and others Maintain the solutions that powers Deezer’s Data Platform (On prem or cloud services) Support the rollout of our new Airflow platform, scheduling GCP jobs on Spark & BigQuery Own monitoring and alerting of the Platform’s pipelines and budget Work hand-in-hand with stakeholders (Business Analysts, Royalties team, ML Engineers…) to understand their needs and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions Participate in agile ceremonies: quarter planning, sprint planning, daily standups and retrospectives Propose and implement improvements to existing stack or pipelines based on your technical watch Qualifications Essentials: 5+ years of experience in Data Platform Engineering Solid experience with Ops topics (CI/CD, monitoring, infrastructure, Software deployment, Finops) and tools (Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes) Solid experience with Spark/Scala, Python, SQL, BigQuery and ETL management Proactive, organized and with strong team spirit Fluent in English Nice-to-have: Experience with GCP, Airflow, Iceberg Experience with Kafka & Kafka Connect Experience with visualisation & monitoring tools (Grafana, Lookerstudio) At Deezer, diversity drives innovation.
