The role of the data team is to make this possible by treating data like a production asset, making it available company-wide, and using it proactively to improve Pennylane's user experience. The Germany team is a fast-growing international frontier for Pennylane - 3 product squads running in parallel, 40+ people across engineering and design and a scaling business team. By joining us as the first Senior Data Analyst working in the Germany team, you'll have the opportunity to build the analytics foundation of a high-growth BU and directly shaping how the team makes decisions and scales. HOW you will contribute to the company As a Senior Data Analyst, you will join the Science & Analytics team (20+ people), inside the Data department (50+ people) and you will act as the data partner embedded in the Germany team. - You will proactively use data to identify opportunities to grow our product and business, working across both product squads and business teams (CS, AMs, Ops). - You will be a real sparring partner for Product and Business leaders in Germany, feeding their strategy by anticipating the most important questions, and leveraging your analytical and statistical skills to answer them. - You will steer decision-making through rigorous analyses, navigating ambiguity and collaborating across domains when needed. - You will contribute to our self-service approach to analytics by understanding your partners' needs and promoting a data-driven culture. You will contribute directly to data models in the data warehouse (using dbt). - You will contribute to shaping the Data Engineering roadmap to deliver the best experience for your colleagues on the data platform.
