We are looking for an experienced Adobe AEM Technical Specialist to join our Digital Solutions team in Bangalore. This is a dual-focus role covering both the strategic administration and evolution of the AEM platform, and the hands-on day-to-day support of AEM DAM operations. This role is focused on hands-on platform support, workflow troubleshooting, and integration maintenance within a live, business-critical environment. You will work on legacy AEM implementation, helping the team stabilize, optimize, and evolve the platform. We are looking for someone who can get into the system, understand how it works, and fix issues pragmatically. What you’ll be doing: As our Senior DAM Technical Specialist you will be responsible for: Platform Administration & Maintenance Manage and maintain the back-office operations of Adobe AEM, including system configuration, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting. Support day-to-day AEM operations including authoring, publishing, and asset management. Oversee and manage AEM workflows and any platform customisations; troubleshoot and fix custom workflow failures or inefficiencies. Monitor logs and identify root causes of platform or performance issues. Ensure the AEM environment remains up to date with the latest Adobe patches and version releases. Manage and plan AEM version upgrades, coordinating all technical and business requirements throughout the upgrade lifecycle. Workflow Analysis & Optimisation Analyse and maintain custom AEM workflows. Debug and fix workflow failures or inefficiencies. Suggest improvements to increase stability and performance. Assist in identifying unused assets, workflows, or components; support purge/archive activities to improve platform performance. Help document existing setup and reduce reliance on legacy knowledge. Technical Liaison & Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the primary technical liaison between Adobe’s technical teams and the internal Pentland team. Work closely with the business team to understand and implement requirements around user access, platform configuration, and AEM setup. Evaluate and validate solutions proposed by Adobe, ensuring they meet internal testing standards and upgrade requirements. Integration & Data Lead and support integrations between Adobe AEM and other enterprise systems that consume or exchange data with the AEM backend. Maintain and troubleshoot integrations between AEM and external platforms such as Salsify. Support validation and fixes for integrations across environments (Dev, Stage, Production). Work with APIs and data flows between systems. Ensure integration points are robust, well-documented, and maintained through platform changes and upgrades. Testing & Quality Assurance Oversee testing for all Adobe-related solutions, ensuring alignment with upgrade and release requirements. Support UAT and regression testing for platform changes and releases. Validate key user journeys (asset upload, publishing, distribution). Define and maintain testing protocols to validate platform stability and functionality after changes. Assist with environment configuration and release readiness.
