Established in 2008 and headquartered in Melbourne, Australia, AECC has a positive global reputation for quality and ethical student counselling with: • 750+ partner universities and colleges around the world (Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, United States) • 850+ global workforce • 44 offices across 15 countries • 55,000+ students enrolled since inception Wh a t Does This Opportunity Mean for You • Deliver the counselling program to the students, colleagues, and immediate supervisor • Report results of the program evaluation that demonstrates outcomes. • Participate in decision-making activities, which contribute to the effective operation within the department • Cooperate and collaborate with other professionals in enhancing the career and education of students. • Interprets and explains college and university policies and procedures; participates in preparation of orientations and presents academic information to students and parents during counselling sessions. • Identify options for students to satisfy degree requirements; evaluate and make recommendations in the institution abroad for preferred program of study and assists students in completion of admission process • Successfully accomplish the targeted number of applicants each time or going above and beyond set expectations • Check various forms for accuracy such as curriculum changes, visa policy changes, fee schedule changes and update the same in the information system. Skills and Attributes Required This role is heavily customer and sales focused in the International Education sector. You will be required to have the following experience/skills: • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the International Education Industry • Be customer-centric and can work in a cross-cultural environment • Understand the needs of international students • Proven track record of strong sales achievement • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, interpersonal • Great attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to meet deadlines • Demonstrated team player • Experience in using Customer Relationship Management platforms
