A leading healthcare facility in Dubai is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant / Specialist Ophthalmologist to join its advanced ophthalmology department. The successful candidate will provide expert eye care services, perform specialized ophthalmic procedures, and contribute to delivering world-class patient outcomes in a modern, multidisciplinary healthcare environment. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified ophthalmologists seeking to relocate to Dubai and work with a prestigious healthcare organization equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical technologies. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive ophthalmology consultations, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with various eye conditions. Perform advanced ophthalmic procedures and surgeries based on area of expertise. Manage complex ophthalmic conditions including cataracts, glaucoma, retinal diseases, corneal disorders, and other eye disorders. Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and develop individualized treatment plans. Perform pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-up care. Utilize advanced ophthalmic diagnostic tools and surgical technologies. Collaborate with optometrists, ophthalmic technicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with international clinical standards. Participate in clinical audits, research, teaching, and continuing medical education activities. Requirements Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent). Completion of recognized postgraduate training in Ophthalmology . Recognized specialist qualification such as: UK CCT in Ophthalmology FRCOphth American Board of Ophthalmology FRANZCO Equivalent internationally recognized qualification. Minimum 5 years of post-specialty experience preferred. Proven expertise in ophthalmic diagnosis and surgical procedures. Subspecialty expertise in areas such as cataract surgery, glaucoma, retina, cornea, refractive surgery, or oculoplastics is advantageous. Excellent communication and patient management skills.
