Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled  Senior Consultant / Consultant Hematologist  to join a leading healthcare facility. The successful candidate will provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of patients with benign and malignant hematological disorders while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and manage a wide range of hematological disorders, including anemia, bleeding and clotting disorders, hemoglobinopathies, bone marrow disorders, leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based clinical practices. Interpret and evaluate laboratory investigations, bone marrow biopsies, and other diagnostic procedures. Collaborate with oncologists, pathologists, transfusion medicine specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Manage inpatient and outpatient hematology services. Monitor treatment response and adjust management plans as required. Provide patient and family counseling regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and long-term care. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental activities. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards. Contribute to teaching, mentoring, research, and continuing medical education activities. Requirements Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution. Board certification or recognized postgraduate qualification in Hematology or Hematology & Medical Oncology. Valid medical license or eligibility for licensure in the relevant jurisdiction. Extensive experience managing both benign and malignant hematological disorders. Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities. Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.
