About the Role We are seeking a Senior Data Governance Consultant who can design, implement, and embed practical governance capabilities across complex enterprise environments. This role combines governance expertise with strong consulting and stakeholder engagement skills. You will work closely with executives, business leaders, data teams, and technology stakeholders to establish governance frameworks that improve trust, transparency, compliance, and organisational capability. You will help organisations strengthen the foundations required to support modern data platforms, analytics programs, and AI initiatives by improving data ownership, stewardship, quality, metadata management, and governance operating models. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and can confidently engage stakeholders from the boardroom through to operational teams. What You'll Do Design and implement enterprise data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and operating models aligned to organisational objectives Establish governance structures, roles, and accountability models that improve ownership and decision-making across business and technology teams Define and implement data stewardship frameworks, governance forums, and operating rhythms that support sustainable governance practices Support organisations in improving data quality, metadata management, lineage, and information management capabilities Develop governance controls and processes that enable trusted analytics, reporting, and AI adoption Facilitate stakeholder workshops, governance councils, and working groups to drive alignment and engagement Collaborate with business, risk, compliance, legal, and technology teams to ensure governance requirements are embedded into delivery practices Support the implementation and adoption of governance tooling including data catalogues, metadata platforms, and lineage solutions Develop governance roadmaps, maturity assessments, and capability uplift initiatives Provide trusted advisory services to senior stakeholders and contribute to governance strategy development Mentor client teams and contribute to Intelligen's governance capability growth and thought leadership Core Principles for This Role Trust Through Governance : Creating confidence in data through practical governance, transparency, accountability, and stewardship.
