Description
Clarity Innovations is a national security partner supporting the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense. As a Senior Computer Network Operations Engineer, you will design custom tooling and tailored capabilities for government Cyber Capability Developers, directly accelerating the development, delivery, and deployment of critical mission assets in a rapidly evolving operational environment. What You'll Do • Design custom tooling and tailored capabilities to overcome government Cyber Capability Developer limitations • Analyze binary blobs, malware, and firmware using industry-standard tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, and Binary Ninja • Identify and exploit vulnerabilities including buffer overflows and use-after-free, creating proof-of-concept exploits • Engineer custom implants, backdoors, beacons, and Command and Control infrastructure • Perform static and dynamic analysis including AV evasion, packers, and obfuscation techniques • Conduct protocol analysis using Wireshark, Scapy, Nmap, and tcpdump for TCP/IP stack manipulation What You Need • Demonstrated proficiency in C/C++ and inline assembly with deep understanding of memory management and pointer arithmetic • Advanced knowledge of x86/x64 and ARM architectures for reading, writing, and analyzing shellcode and disassembled code • Comprehensive understanding of Linux and Windows kernel-mode programming, process/thread management, and virtual memory • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP stack, DNS, and HTTP/S protocols with ability to manipulate packets and implement covert channels • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science • Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI Nice to Have • Familiarity with Metasploit, pwntools, QEMU, AFL, and various fuzzing platforms • Proficiency with implant and driver development • Strong knowledge of Windows OS internals • Proficiency in Git, Make, CMake, and GCC/Clang cross-compilation suites $110,000–$263,000 per year
