Experience You will need to be a great communicator with a good level of both written and verbal English. As we are keen for our team members to be as skilled as possible, if you don’t already have, or are working towards, your NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, you will need to be willing to complete it. Requirements • Previous experience in a care setting • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) • Right to work in the UK What does the job include? This is a varied role where you’ll get the opportunity to form close bonds with the individuals you care for whilst working as part of a dedicated team. In the role of a senior, you will be responsible for supervising care team members, participating in resident review meetings, allocating staff duties, overseeing the daily charts and developing detailed, person-centred care plans. You’ll also help residents with personal care such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and enjoying meals, as well as supporting them to get around the home and administering their medication. Maintaining individuals’ independence and dignity is an important part of the job as well as supporting residents to take part in a wide range of fun recreational and social activities.
