Position Overview Vision Mechanical is seeking an experienced Mechanical CAD Draftsman who can step in and produce at a high level with minimal oversight. This role supports HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems across commercial and industrial projects. You must be able to read contract drawings, think through layouts, and produce clean, coordinated drawings without constant direction. This is an in-office position only. No remote work. Responsibilities • Develop detailed CAD/Revit drawings for HVAC, plumbing, and piping systems • Interpret contract drawings, specs, and submittals with accuracy • Produce shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-builts • Coordinate with Project Managers, field crews, and fabrication shop • Identify and flag conflicts or constructability issues before they become problems • Maintain high drawing standards and consistency across projects Requirements • Strong, proven experience in mechanical drafting (HVAC / plumbing / piping) • Ability to read and fully understand contract drawings and specifications • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit • Experience with Trimble (layout, coordination, or integration) is a strong plus • Solid understanding of mechanical systems and how they are installed in the field • Detail-oriented, organized, and accountable • Shows up, works hard, and produces without excuses What We’re Looking For • Someone who can run with a set of drawings and figure it out • Minimal supervision required • Strong problem solver—not just a line drawer • Reliable and consistent—no babysitting • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing company Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
