When you join our Team, you will have the opportunity to contribute and make an impact every single day.   This role is based in our Sydney or Melbourne office with Hybrid working arrangement.    Role Purpose  Reporting to the Senior IT Project Manager and implementing various IT & Data projects with a focus on Trading & Risk. Playing a pivotal part in ensuring that business requirements are defined, and IT & Data solutions/systems are implemented to deliver the business outcomes.   Key Responsibilities: Participate in and/or lead multiple change initiatives up to $250k in value Conduct interviews to gather user requirements and business benefits via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, workflow storyboards, report mock ups, use cases scenarios and data mapping. Work with stakeholders, project, and technical teams to prioritize collected requirements, identify solutions and develop business cases. Coordinate change initiatives including ensuring technical teams complete design, build and release activities, and business teams complete user acceptance testing and preparations for Go-Live. Conduct system testing where required and prepare UAT test cases Create ‘As is’ and ‘To Be’ business or technical process flows as required Complete or update system documentation as required Provide first line of support to the business for live systems, understanding user problems and working with technical teams to resolve. Work/engage with UK teams as required Prepare specifications for reports including data lineage and definitions   Performance Indicators: Delivery of practical solutions that resolve business issues. Solutions implemented within agreed scope, budget and timeframes, as well as in accordance with technical design standards & internal governance practices. Stakeholder end of change or project surveys   Experience: Experience in a Business/Technical Analyst role with experience on complex technology implementation projects Experience developing and documenting business process maps, user stories and utilising MoSCoW methods (or equivalent)   Experience working with third party software development organisations or inhouse development teams Hands-on software development or design experience (optional)    Strong analytical and structured way of thinking, high organizational skills and attention to detail At least 5 years' experience, preferably working for 2 or more energy retailers Can write basic SQL and/or Python to perform data testing    Work with stakeholders at all levels in an organization   Knowledge: Strong knowledge of wholesale energy markets, retail electricity supply market, regional sales markets as well as market rules and regulations.
