Job Title: Senior Business Analyst
Job Type: 6-Month Daily Rate Contract (Hybrid)
Job Description
Our client, a growing financial services organisation, is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a fast-paced programme of business and operational change on an initial six-month daily rate contract.
Job Responsibilities
• Lead business analysis activities across multiple projects and change initiatives.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges and priorities.
• Gather, assess and document detailed business and functional requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews and working sessions with business and technical teams.
• Translate complex requirements into clear process maps, user stories and supporting documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes, customer journeys and operational efficiency.
• Support solution design, testing, implementation and change delivery activities.
• Act as a key link between business stakeholders, technology teams and external partners.
Experience Required
• Minimum of seven years’ experience working as a Business Analyst, including experience in a senior or lead-level position.
• Proven experience delivering change within a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
• Strong background in requirements gathering, process analysis and stakeholder management.
• Experience working across both business and technology-led initiatives.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and operate effectively with limited supervision.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience working within financial services or another regulated environment.
Desirable Skills
• Previous experience within insurance, healthcare, banking or a related financial services setting.
• Experience working in a growing or start-up-style organisation.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery approaches and associated tools.
• Experience supporting digital transformation, operational improvement or customer-focused change initiatives.
• Knowledge of business process modelling and requirements management techniques.
• A proactive mindset and the ability to make a visible impact within a small, collaborative team.
Educational Requirements
• A third-level degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance or a related discipline.
• Relevant professional qualifications in business analysis, Agile delivery or project management would be advantageous.
